While there has been quite a scare in West Africa regarding the Ebola virus outbreak, Tanzania remains a safe and vibrant place to enjoy the sights and safaris. Tanzania is roughly 3,400 miles away from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Nigeria where the outbreak has been most prominent on the opposite end of the content (the equivalent distance of New York to London).
While we understand that many tourists have concerns for their health and safety, we encourage visitors to consider moving beyond the media hysteria and do their own research using more legitimate resources like the Center for Disease Control or the World Health Organization for updated and accurate travel information.
